Single-Course Examination

Pursuant to Article 19, Paragraph 3 of the Balıkesir University Education, Training and Examination Regulations:

Students who have fulfilled the attendance and practical requirements for all courses, excluding internship courses, and who have only one failed course shall be granted the right to take a Single-Course Examination for that course. In addition, students who have passed all courses but have not achieved the required minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00 for graduation shall be granted the right to take a Single-Course Examination for one course of their choice, provided that the grade obtained in this examination enables them to raise their CGPA to at least 2.00. Single-Course Examinations are held on the dates specified in the academic calendar. In order to be successful in the Single-Course Examination, students must obtain at least a letter grade of DD. Midterm examination scores are not taken into consideration in determining this letter grade.

Single-Course Examination Application Deadline: 11 February 2026 (Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted.)

 Single-Course Examination Date:  13 February 2026

Students who wish to apply for the Single-Course Examination must submit a signed petition on 11 February 2026. (Applications submitted before or after 11 February 2026 will not be accepted.)

Students are required to submit their petitions in person to the Student Affairs Office (in-person applications may be submitted during official working hours only).
