Single Course Examination
Prior to the 2026-2027 Fall Semester
Examination times and classroom information will be announced on the relevant department websites. Students are required to follow the announcements published on their department's website.
Application Procedures
Applications must be submitted through the Single Course Application Procedures module available under the Application Procedures section of the Student Information System (OBS).
Students who experience problems during the application process should report the issue via e-mail to gsf@balikesir.edu.tr .
Regulation Provisions
Pursuant to Article 24, Paragraph 5 of the Balıkesir University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations, students who have fulfilled the attendance and practical requirements for all courses, except internship requirements, and who have only one unsuccessful course remaining for graduation are granted the right to take a single course examination for that course.
Students who have received passing grades from all courses but have not achieved the minimum 2.00 GPA required for graduation may also be granted the right to take a single course examination, provided that the grade obtained from the selected course may increase their GPA to at least 2.00.
Single course examinations are held on the dates specified in the academic calendar.
In order to successfully pass the single course examination, students must obtain at least a DD letter grade. Midterm examination grades are not taken into consideration when determining this letter grade.
