The Opening Lecture for the 2026–2027 Academic Year Was Held
The opening lecture for the 2026–2027 academic year at the Balıkesir University Faculty of Fine Arts was delivered by Prof. Dr. Serdar Yılmaz.The lecture, titled “Interdisciplinarity in Art and Design Education,” explored the relationships between art and design education and other disciplines, as well as the contributions of interdisciplinary approaches to educational and artistic production processes.
Academic staff and students attended the event, which took place on September 28, 2026, in the Faculty of Fine Arts Art History Hall. We extend our gratitude to Prof. Dr. Serdar Yılmaz for his valuable contributions, as well as to all the academic staff and students who attended the event, and we wish all our students and academic personnel a productive and successful 2026–2027 academic year.
