“BUMP” Balıkesir University International Mail Print Exhibition - V Opens
Organized by the Balıkesir University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Printmaking Arts, the “BUMP” International Mail Print Exhibition - V opened on December 1, 2025, at the Balıkesir University Faculty of Fine Arts Exhibition Hall. The exhibition, which was met with great interest, hosted a wide range of participation on an international scale.
Within the scope of the event, which was held for the fifth time this year, 141 artworks by 92 artists from 22 countries, and 160 works by 130 artists from Turkey were featured in the exhibition. Bringing together original printmaking works sent via mail, BUMP aimed to strengthen cultural interaction through printmaking and to unite artists from different geographies on the same art platform.
The reproducible, portable, and globally mailable nature of printmaking supported the exhibition's goal of international artistic sharing, enabling it to reach a wide audience.
