Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Duygu Sabancılar Iştın Visits Sofia as a Guest of Lesedra Gallery
In conjunction with the “16th Painting & Mixed Media Competition 2025–2026” exhibition featuring artworks by our Department of Painting students, our Vice Dean, Prof. Dr. Duygu Sabancılar Iştın, visited Sofia as a guest of Lesedra Gallery.
Visiting the exhibition in person, our faculty member examined the works of our students exhibited on an international platform. During the visit, she also met with academics from Sofia University to discuss art education, studio productions, and potential academic collaborations.
The inclusion of our students' works in an international exhibition and the new academic relationships established through this occasion are of great value to our department. We congratulate our students—Ece Tıraş, Çağatay Şen, Müjde Sayın, Muhammed Emin Tural, Saliha Nartekin, Serdar Gürleyen, Songül Okdemir, Sena Öz, and Şehrinur Kurban—whose works were featured in this selection.
