Assoc. Prof. Dr. Öznur Işır's "Typographic Heritage" Exhibition Opens at Our Faculty's Taş Gallery
22 July 2026
Letters are not merely characters; they are silent witnesses carrying the city's memory, past, and daily life.
Prepared by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Öznur Işır, the "Typographic Heritage" exhibition brings together the typographic traces that continue to live in the streets, signboards, and architectural details of Balıkesir. These letters, which form the visual identity of the city, invite a re-reading around the axis of design and cultural heritage.
