Upcycling Frame Workshop Held at NEF under the Direction of Asst. Prof. Dr. Esra Aydın

Organized by NEF, the “Upcycling Frame Workshop” was held with the participation of students from various departments on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 15:00 at the NEF H. İnalcık Conference Hall, under the direction of our faculty member, Asst. Prof. Dr. Esra Aydın.
Within the scope of the workshop, participants had the opportunity to create original frame designs by utilizing various materials that are no longer used in daily life or have become waste. In the practice utilizing beads, buttons, jewelry pieces, fabric, and various decorative materials, students combined the upcycling approach with creative design processes, experiencing both aesthetic and sustainable production practices.
