Orientation Program for New Students Held at the Faculty of Fine Arts
Balıkesir University Faculty of Fine Arts organized an orientation program for students newly enrolled in the 2025–2026 academic year. The event was held on October 1, 2025, at 11:30 in the Faculty Art History Hall.
In her opening remarks, the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Selvihan Kılıç Ateş, welcomed the students and emphasized the faculty’s commitment to artistic production, interdisciplinary collaboration, and an innovative educational approach. She encouraged students to take an active role in university life, engage with artistic environments, and pursue a productive academic year.
As part of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burçak Balamber provided an informative presentation on the faculty’s academic structure, departments, and educational programs. Additionally, faculty members introduced students to the campus and library facilities, offering guidance on the resources and opportunities available to them.
The orientation program, held annually to support students’ adaptation to the faculty and to enhance academic and social interaction, continues to be an integral component of Balıkesir University Faculty of Fine Arts’ student-centered educational approach.
