The Solo Exhibition Entitled "The Chronicle of Space" by Assistant Professor Dr. Esra AYDIN Has Opened
The painting exhibition titled “The Chronicle of Space”, featuring works by Assistant Professor Dr. Esra Aydın from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Balıkesir University, was presented to art enthusiasts at the Taş Gallery Exhibition Hall.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Rector of Balıkesir University, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cevdet Avcıkurt, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. Selvihan Kılıç Ateş, Secretary General Yemliha Yanar, as well as academic and administrative staff and students. During the opening, Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu examined the artworks and received information about the works directly from the artist.
In her opening remarks, Assistant Professor Dr. Esra Aydın shared insights into the production process of the exhibited works and discussed her sources of inspiration. Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu emphasized that universities contribute to society not only through scientific research but also through artistic and cultural production, and congratulated Assistant Professor Dr. Esra Aydın for her works, which artistically interpret the natural and spatial character of Balıkesir University’s Çağış Campus.
The exhibition, which consists of watercolor works inspired by various locations across the Balıkesir University Çağış Campus, will be open to visitors until December 31.
